Music pierces right to the heart in a way that mere words fail to do. I can be immediately taken to another place by a particular song or even a phrase. It is amazing the power in that. Sometimes I stop and wonder why does a particular tune or lyric affect me in that way? It usually goes back to the time and place when I first heard the song. The emotions of the day and the person I was with create an indelible impression on my heart. It is good to know others feel the same. I totally agree.
